Toronto Brass is a traditional brass band, based in the beautiful Lake Macquarie region at Rathmines and are proud to be a part of the wider Toronto and Lake Macquarie community. With beginnings in 1962 as the Toronto RSL youth band, we are pleased to have been performing and representing our community for more than 60 years! Since then, the band has gone on to establish itself as one of the leading bands in the area and is known for it’s quality sound.. Today, Toronto Brass proudly competes in the B Grade section in both NSW state and National level and presents regular concert performances.

Catalina Brass is the youth, development band of Toronto Brass aimed at developing younger players and giving them the chance to extend their musical skills and performance opportunities. Currently, the 2025 NSW state C Grade Champions, Catalina Brass performs in concert alongside Toronto Brass as well as on their own.

Beginners of all ages are also catered for with individual and group lessons available.
