Life Membership!

Toronto Brass are delighted to present Tim O’Hearn with Life Membership of the band. Tim started playing as a junior member of Toronto & District Brass Band (now Toronto Brass), following in the footsteps of his father who was a local primary school teacher and junior band trainer. Becoming a proficient cornet player, Tim started conducting the band in 1997. Tim has a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Mathematics (dip Ed), is a highly regarded flugelhorn horn
(and trumpet/cornet) player and also plays the cello.

The presentation was made at the band’s recent 60th Anniversary celebrations.
